Mengenal Alfabet Korea (Hangeul 한 글)

Alfabet korea Hangeul 한 글 ternyata simple hanya 24 abjad(sebenarnya lebih tapi sudah tidak terpakai) terdiri dari 14 konsonan dasar dan 10 vokal dasar. Konsonan dan vokal ini disusun menjadi suku kata dalam bentuk balok. Hangeul 한 글 diciptakan pada pertengahan abad 15 (kurang lebih 1440). Namun karena tradisi sistem pendidikan masih menggunakan bahasa china klasik sampai tahun 1945 dimana Hangeul 한 글 sudah banyak digunakan.

Jamo

Jamo (자모) yaitu unit yang membentuk abjad Hangeul 한 글. Ja berarti huruf atau karakter, dan mo berarti ibu. Dengan kata lain jamo sebagai pembentuk tulisan Hangeul. Tiap huruf mempunyai nama dan bunyi sendiri (seperti huruf hijaiyah).
